This beautiful statue of the Child Jesus and St. Joseph is in the lobby of the Carmelite monastery, Carmel of St. Joseph, in Armstrong, British Columbia. The statue is old and came from a church, I believe trying to go on memory!, from Lourdes in France for the this new monastery that was built for the Armstrong Carmelites. A benefactor of the monastery built the stone square structure it sits on. It is a beautiful site to see right away when you come in their front doors!
